چکیده
We study the effect of two Modified Gravity (MG) theories, $f(R)$ and nDGP, on three probes large-scale structure, real space power spectrum estimator $Q_0$, bispectrum voids, validate fast approximate COLA simulations against full $N$-body for prediction these probes. find that using first even multipoles redshift to estimate $Q_0$ is enough reproduce MG boost factors both halo galaxy catalogues. By analysing reduced Dark Matter (DM), we show strong signal present in DM mainly due enhanced spectrum. warn about adopting screening approximations as this neglects non-linear contributions can source a significant component at level, but argue not problem galaxies where dominated by bias. Finally, perform void-finding our mock catalogues ZOBOV watershed algorithm. To apply linear model Redshift-Space Distortion (RSD) void-galaxy cross-correlation function, examine effects void profiles entering into RSD model. relevant signals integrated-density, velocity dispersion radial nDGP theory. Fitting growth rate, recover theory an model, which larger than $\Lambda$CDM $3 \sigma$ level. In cannot naively compare results fit with scale-dependent, obtain are consistent prediction.

Modified Newtonian Dynamics of Large Scale Structure
We examine the implications of Modified Newtonian Dynamics (MOND) on the large scale structure in a Friedmann-Robertson-Walker universe. We employ a “Jeans swindle” to write a MOND-type relationship between the fluctuations in the density and the gravitational force, g. In linear Newtonian theory, |g| decreases with time and eventually becomes < g0 , the threshold below which MOND is dominant. ...
متن کاملFlaglets for studying the large-scale structure of the Universe
Pressing questions in cosmology such as the nature of dark matter and dark energy can be addressed using large galaxy surveys, which measure the positions, properties and redshifts of galaxies in order to map the large-scale structure of the Universe. We review the Fourier-Laguerre transform, a novel transform in 3D spherical coordinates which is based on spherical harmonics combined with dampe...

We are using summarising as a way of studying large-scale discours¢~ structure. متن کاملConstraining f ( R ) Gravity by the Large - Scale Structure
Over the past few decades, general relativity and the concordance ΛCDM model have been successfully tested using several different astrophysical and cosmological probes based on large datasets (precision cosmology). Despite their successes, some shortcomings emerge due to the fact that general relativity should be revised at infrared and ultraviolet limits and to the fact that the fundamental n...
متن کاملCosmological probes of modified gravity: the nonlinear regime.
We review the effects of modified gravity on large-scale structure in the nonlinear regime, focusing on f(R) gravity and the Dvali-Gabadadze-Porrati model, for which full N-body simulations have been performed. In particular, we discuss the abundance of massive halos, the nonlinear matter power spectrum and the dynamics within clusters and galaxies, with particular emphasis on the screening mec...
